St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Music Ministry

Under the direction of Dee Dee Brunelle, the St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Music Ministry consists of three choirs, vocal ensembles, cantors and musicians. We plan and provide music for 7 weekend masses, daily school masses and Holy Days, special liturgies and services as well as for Weddings and Funerals.

We strive to develop the musical and service potential of our young singers and musicians, providing opportunity for music education, understanding of the liturgy and teamwork.

The Children’s Choir and Teen Choir sing for weekend and special Masses during the school year, as well as perform in the annual Christmas Concert/Cantata.  At the director’s discretion, select children and teen-agers are given the opportunity to Cantor for the congregation and lead them in song.

Adult singers and musicians are able to utilize and share their talents in the Adult Choir from September to May and also participate in the Christmas Concert/Cantata.  Select members serve as Cantors and ensemble singers by audition.   The choir strives to grow musically, enhance sight reading skills and vocal technique while enjoying love and fellowship in the process.

                         Mission Statement

The mission statement of the St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Music Ministry is to encourage full and active parishioner participation in the liturgy, while providing a sense of tradition, joy and spiritual energy in our music.
