Age Requirements for Admission:

Kindergarten: Incoming  students must be 5 years old by September

30th  of the year  they are scheduled to start  Kindergarten.   Kindergarten

students are given a Kindergarten readiness test.  The readiness test  is

conducted in January or February.   There is a $100.00 fee for this test.  

First Grade: Students must be 6 years old by September 30th of the year they are  scheduled to start 1st grade and have completed Kindergarten. 

Second Grade: Students must be 7 years old by September 30th and have completed Kindergarten and first grade. 

Students in grades 1-8 are also tested before enrollment, with a fee of $75.00.

 

Curriculum – Core Knowledge Sequence (www.coreknowledge.org)

 Courses offered include – Religion, Math (Saxon-Grades K-5) (Pearson-Grades 6-8), Social Studies, Science, Language Arts, Reading (Open Court K-3, McGraw Hill 4-8) Music, Library, Technology, Art and P.E.

Standardized Testing: St. Elizabeth Ann Seton administers the Terra Nova test,  TASA assessment and ECRA Writing assessment throughout the year.  The Terra Nova  provides  longitudinal  data regarding the academic growth of our students over time.  The TASA test measures the student’s retainment of the Core Knowledge curriculum during a given year.  The ECRA writing test provides student’s writing abilities in comparison with National norms.

 

Tuition and Fees 2011-2012

    Tuition payments begin July 1st and end  April 1st.

    Tuition per child:          $  4,700.00

    Application                     $       35.00

    Registration Fee:          $     265.00

 

    Assessment Fees:   $75.00 for Grades 1-8  ($100.00 for Kindergarten)

    Consumable Fees  (based on Student’s Grade- paid in the Spring for the coming school year )

    (There will be additional fees for: Uniforms, Art and Music fees,

    Athletic fees  for sports (varies), and field trips (infrequent).

 

Lunch:             

Hot Lunch program runs Monday to Friday at an approximate cost of $4.25-$5.50 per day per student.
